Privacy

The Radio Games Matching Service exists to match QSOs between operators' logs. It stores what that requires and nothing more. There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and your data is never sold.

What we store

What others can see

Cookies and email

We set a session cookie to keep you logged in and a CSRF cookie to protect forms. That's all. Email is transactional only: password resets and messages about your account. There is no marketing email.

Third parties

Deleting your data

The Delete account button on your profile erases your account, your uploaded files, your contacts, and the confirmations they created. Other operators keep their own log entries, which may name your callsign; a QSO in someone else's log is their record of their own activity, just as it would be in a paper logbook.

Exporting your data

Your confirmed matches are available as ADIF through the API at any time.

Questions

For privacy questions or data requests, including rights under the GDPR or similar laws, email privacy@radio.games. The service is open source, so you can also read exactly what the code does with your data.
